Company

A trading house, not a broker list.

We connect producers and industrial buyers across four commodity sectors, and we stay on the transaction after the price is agreed — through inspection, storage, documents and delivery.

Adlim Gostar is a general trading company headquartered in Türkiye, working across oil and gas, petrochemicals, chemicals and metals. Our work is to make supply predictable: find the material at the grade a buyer actually needs, confirm it is what the paperwork says it is, and get it to the discharge point on the date agreed.

Markets move, so we build for adaptability rather than volume alone. Long-term relationships come from doing the unglamorous parts properly — specification, inspection, documentation, and telling a client early when something will not work. That standard applies to a single container as much as to a term contract.

Alongside commodity trading, we act as the authorised representative and sales agent in Türkiye for a manufacturer of cryogenic pumps, vaporizers and CO₂ charging equipment, covering promotion, sales, maintenance and after-sales support.

Crude oil

Classified by API gravity and sulphur content — light through extra heavy, sweet and sour.

EN 590 diesel

European automotive standard: 10 ppm sulphur, minimum 51 cetane, up to 7% FAME blending.

Jet A-1

Kerosene aviation fuel to ASTM D1655 and Def Stan 91-091, freezing point −47 °C.

Bitumen

Refined petroleum binder for road paving, asphalt production and waterproofing.

Polyethylene (PE)

LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE grades for film, packaging, pipe and geomembrane.

Polypropylene (PP)

Homopolymer, random and block copolymer for packaging, fibre and automotive parts.

Polystyrene (PS)

GPPS for clarity, HIPS for impact — packaging, laboratory ware and appliance housings.

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)

Rigid uPVC and plasticised flexible grades for pipe, profile, cable and packaging.

Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)

Partially and fully hydrolysed grades for textile sizing, paper coating and adhesives.

Ammonia

Anhydrous and aqueous NH₃ for fertiliser production, chemical synthesis and refrigeration.

Argon

Inert shielding gas for TIG and MIG welding, metal production and semiconductor processing.

Urea 46

Prilled and granular, 46% nitrogen — the highest-nitrogen solid fertiliser available.

NPK fertilisers

Compound fertilisers blended to crop-specific nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ratios.

Ferrous metals

Carbon steel, stainless steel and cast iron for building, tooling and heavy machinery.

Non-ferrous metals

Copper, aluminium, zinc, nickel and lead — light, conductive and corrosion-resistant.

Precious metals

Gold, silver, platinum and palladium for industrial use and for holding as reserve.

Alloys

Engineered grades — bronze, brass, duralumin, cupronickel, nickel-chrome and titanium.

Ethanol

Fuel, industrial and pharmaceutical grades produced by fermentation of plant feedstock.

Methanol

Feedstock for formaldehyde, acetic acid and MTBE, and a fuel component in its own right.

Acetic acid

Glacial (100%) and commercial grades for acetates, anhydride and solvent applications.

Formic acid

The simplest carboxylic acid — leather and textile processing, rubber and silage.

Glycols

Ethylene and propylene diols for coolant, PET resin, solvent and humectant duties.

Acids

Mineral and organic acids for processing, treatment and manufacturing applications.

Alkalis & hydroxides

Hydroxide-bearing bases used in pulp, soap, alumina refining and water treatment.

Aluminium compounds

Alumina, hydroxide, sulphate, chloride, sodium aluminate and the alum family.

Ammonia derivatives

Ammonium nitrate, sulphate, chloride and phosphate, plus urea and nitric acid.

Specialty chemicals

Adhesives, construction and cosmetic chemicals — bought on performance, not tonnage.

Cryogenic piston pumps

Vacuum-jacketed transfer pumps for liquid oxygen, nitrogen, argon, ethylene and propylene.

Cryogenic centrifugal pump

Tank-to-tank transfer at 7000 rpm, 400 L/min and 16 bar outlet, with no vent-valve loss.

Vaporizers

Ambient-air heat exchangers rated 40 to 300 bar — no electricity or water required.

CO₂ charging pump

Cylinder-filling piston pump with PTFE rings, belt drive and a tank return line.

Services

What comes with the cargo.

Four capabilities we run ourselves rather than subcontract blindly. Buyers can take all of them or only the parts they need.

Marketing and sales

Market analysis, demand forecasting and sales strategy for producers who want reach beyond their existing buyers. We know where the demand sits in our sectors and who is actually able to pay for it, which shortens the distance between a cargo and a contract.

Storage

Secure tank and warehouse storage for liquid chemicals and petroleum products, in climate-controlled conditions where the product needs it. Terms are flexible, so material can be held against a delivery schedule instead of moved on someone else's.

Quality control

Testing, inspection and certification from raw material through to finished product, against both local and international regulatory requirements. Consistency across repeat shipments matters more than a good first result, so we sample every lot.

Logistics and distribution

Transport management, customs clearance, warehousing and inventory control, from bulk shipments to time-critical deliveries. We work with a fixed set of carriers and agents we can hold to a schedule rather than whoever quotes cheapest that week.

Process

How an order moves.

The same six steps whether it is one container or a term contract. You get a named contact at step one and keep them until the cargo is discharged.

Enquiry

Send the product, grade, quantity, destination and target timing. If the specification is not settled yet, tell us the application and we will work back from it.

Offer

We come back with availability, full specification, price basis, delivery term and lead time. If we cannot source it properly, we say so at this stage rather than later.

Contract

Quantity, quality clause, delivery basis, payment instrument and inspection regime are fixed in writing before anything is booked or nominated.

Inspection

Independent surveyors sample and test the cargo, and the certificate of analysis is issued against the contract specification, not a generic datasheet.

Shipment

Booking, storage, customs clearance and documentation are handled together so the paperwork is ready when the cargo is, not a week after it sails.

Delivery

Cargo is released against documents at the agreed point, and we stay on the file through discharge and any post-delivery claim.

Compliance and quality

Every cargo has to clear before it moves.

Trading in these sectors means the counterparty, the goods and the destination all have to hold up. We check that first, because a shipment stopped at the border helps nobody.

Our commitment to responsible business practice influences every project we take on, regardless of size. In practice that means declining business we cannot clear, and saying so at enquiry stage rather than after a vessel is nominated.

It also means the quality claim is verified rather than asserted. Testing and certification run from raw material through to finished product, so what arrives matches what was contracted — on the first shipment and on the twentieth.

Adlim Gostar does not trade sanctioned goods or deal with sanctioned parties. Where a request cannot be cleared under applicable law, we will tell you before quoting.
